Union Street Festival 2023

Miramar Events presents The Union Street Festival 2023, taking place on June 3rd and 4th. Attendees can expect live music performances, numerous arts and crafts booths and food vendors. Some of this year’s artists include Michelle Lambert, The Rockmakers, Wreckless Strangers, and more. Additionally there will be a waiters race and an interactive paint wall and DJ dance park.

Oakland Carnival & Wellness Festival

The Oakland Carnival & Wellness Festival merges different cultures by using food and music. This festivity marks its ninth year and will showcase an array of Caribbean food, dancing, and music while promoting wellness lessons and yoga sessions. Entry to this event is free of charge.

Pints For Paws, 9th Annual Craft Beer Festival

Voted the Best Fundraising Event in the East Bay, Pints for Paws is celebrating its 9th annual craft beer festival on June 3rd. In addition to supporting Berkeley Humane’s life-saving programs, individuals can enjoy numerous games, live music and auction prizes. Some of this year’s breweries include Buck Wild, Ghost Town Brewing, and East Brother Beer Co. Tickets range from $95 to $1,500. This is a 21+ and dog-friendly event.

40th San Francisco Jazz Festival

The 40th San Francisco Jazz Festival boasts an exciting lineup of over 30 world-renowned artists and jazz legends performing in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood. From June 7th to June 18th, music lovers can attend festival events at venues like the Miner Auditorium and Joe Henderson Lab. 2023 performers include names such as Brandon Goldberg, Jacob Collier, High Pulp, and Sundra Manning. Tickets are on sale now.

Lodi Craft Beer Festival

On the 10th of June, California's Lodi Lake Park will host once again the annual Lodi Craft Beer Festival. A hub for brewing enthusiasts, it offers a variety of locally crafted brews, sure to appeal to even the most discerning palates. Attendees can anticipate much more beyond beer tasting; they will also be entertained by music performances and catered with flavorful bites by carefully curated food vendors. Prices for tickets inevitably vary between $20 and $75.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical

Carve some time out for a Broadway show while in Sacramento. Carole King is known in the music industry as an iconic singer-songwriter. However, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is a play about the personal life of Carole King before she was a chart-topping music legend. Tickets can be purchased here.

North Beach Festival

North Beach Festival

North Beach Festival is one of the best outdoor activities annually held in San Francisco. Celebrated in the North Beach District, this event features over 100 craft booths, beverage gardens, food booths, live entertainment, and a separate area for kids. This is one of the largest street fairs in San Francisco, and the entrance is free.

Juneteenth Festival San Francisco

Taking place in the Fillmore District, thousands of individuals will gather within eight blocks to celebrate Juneteenth. The Juneteenth Festival San Francisco is a free, family event featuring numerous activities such as a hair and fashion show and live performances. With over 50 retail and food vendors, games, rides, and a classic car show, this festival has something for everyone.

LEGO lovers will be in awe at Brick Fest Live. An event that travels across the country, this is an exhibition that features hundreds of incredibly vibrant and intricate life-sized LEGO statues, numerous hands-on activities kids will love, and plenty of educational experiences. Children can build their own LEGO sculptures and let their creativity flow while observing sculptures that will inspire and wow them. Tickets ranging from $16.99 to $37.99 can be purchased online, and additional parking fees may be charged upon arrival. 

4th Annual Lakefest Oakland

Lakefest is back for its 4th year on Lake Merritt to celebrate local culture and the community. This free event features attractions such as live entertainment, fashion shows, a beer garden, food court and more. Attendees can also visit the kid zone or the tech pavilion and even shop at the artisan marketplace. RSVP your spot today. 

Cats on Mats: Purrlates

Get some exercise in while supporting local rescue cats. This all-levels Pilates class is a great way to destress while mingling with resident and adoptable rescue cats and kittens. Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. And, of course, complimentary sparkling wine will be available afterward (for all guests over the age of 21). We recommend arriving ready to go in your exercise clothes.
