The Stern Grove Festival brings free weekly music to the people of San Francisco all Summer. Catch a who's who of industry, including Damien & Stephen Marley, the SF Philharmonic, and the legendary queen Dian Ross. The concerts are free, but you still need to reserve your ticket in advance. Bring along blankets, lawn chairs, your favorite picnic treats, and spirits for grown-ups. Pet-friendly areas are also available for your music-loving doggo. Unsurprisingly, there's only limited parking available; the BART is your best bet.

The fifth annual Sol Blume music festival returns May 3-5. A celebration of music, art, diversity, and culture, the three-day event features R&B, soul, and hip-hop performances, interactive art experiences, local vendors, and food and drinks in the heart of Sacramento.

With over 25 food trucks, a full-service bar, fun lawn games, and even yoga, the Presidio Picnic has something for everyone. Just make sure to bring a blanket to camp out on!
