Live Well San Diego 5K

Live Well San Diego 5K

The Live Well San Diego 5K and 1-mile Fun Run bring together thousands of athletes of all levels. Set at the iconic Waterfront Park Downtown, this run brings the community together for a fun way to support a healthy, safe, and thriving San Diego County. You may register online or from 6 a.m. onwards on the day of the run. Every participant will get a race shirt in atomic blue and a finisher medal. Note that parking around Waterfront Park can be tricky, so using public transport to get to the run is encouraged.

Pretend you're relaxing on the bayou at San Diego's Gator By The Bay Festival. The four-day event features blues and zydeco music from artists such as Sugar Ray Rayford, talks about Cajun culture, and some of California's most delicious Southern dishes, including crawfish imported directly from the Louisiana Cooking Pavilion. Tickets start at $57.

San Diego International Fringe Festival

San Diego International Fringe Festival

Theatre lovers shouldn't miss the 12th annual San Diego International Fringe Festival. San Diego's largest performing arts event features over 500 live productions from local, national, and international artists free from censorship. Performances are between 45 and 60 minutes, so consider seeing multiple shows. Most show tickets are $10, but some performances are free.

Head down to the San Diego waterfront for a weekend of incredible music and even better vibes at this year's Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival. The amazing three-day event incorporates all of the downtown waterfront into the concert experience: activities like boat parties, sunset cruises, and trolley rides, plus a ton of restaurants, bars, and breweries, are right on the festival's doorstep. This year's performers include Patty Gou, Janelle Monáe, Anderson.Paak, Jason Mraz, and many more.

Welcome to the annual Over the Line Craft Beerfest and OTL Tournament. Over-the-Line (OTL) is the thrilling beach softball game from San Diego where 3-person teams hit balls over a line and score runs minus bases or gloves. The tournament starts at 7 a.m., and the Beerfest pours the brews from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. 21+ only.

La Jolla Half Marathon

The La Jolla Half Marathon is known for its scenic point-to-point route starting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, followed by a coastal stretch until the climb to the peak of Torrey Pines State Park. The rest of the course rolls across the mesa, a downhill section through La Jolla Shores, and ends at La Jolla Cove. If You're looking for a shorter race, the La Jolla Shores 5K offers a mostly downhill course with stunning views of the last 3.1 miles of the half marathon. don't miss the post-race celebration with food, music, and prizes.

Rock 'n' Roll Running Series San Diego

Rock \'n\' Roll Running Series San Diego

Rock out on the road Rock 'n' Roll Running Race, featuring live bands jamming throughout the course. Opt to participate in the 5k, half marathon, or full-marathon race. This is a unique way to consider exploring the city, as the race will begin at Balboa Park and travel through eight popular neighborhoods before ending in Downtown San Diego. Registration prices are $87 for the 5k, $175 for the half marathon, and $185 for the full marathon. Registration includes a T-shirt, gear bag, a finisher medal, and a complimentary beverage upon race completion.

Get ready for the 44th Annual Beachside Music Festival at Fiesta del Sol. Experience Latin American culture through music, dance, art, food, and drinks. Enjoy mouthwatering dishes from 21 food vendors or hang out in the wine or beer garden. This year’s line-up is coming soon. In addition, attendees will have the chance to participate in beach games and purchase handcrafted jewelry. Families can explore the Kid Zone, featuring rides, face painting, and arts and crafts. Admission is free, but VIP passes are available.

The oceanfront reserve features 1,750 acres of unspoiled land with various types of flora that have been there forever, including the Torrey Pine, America's rarest pine tree. There are 8 hiking trails at the reserve to help you take it all in.

Prices will vary. Cruise San Diego will show you the Mission Bay side of San Diego on their harbor boats, overlooking the gorgeous sunset.
