San Diego Makes For A Dreamy Escape From Winter Blahs

Average temperature low and high: 49°-65°
Where to begin with San Diego? First, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, and Legoland are all significant draws, aided by the high 60s weather and scenic beaches. Balboa park and hiking trails offer serene nature escapes, while gray whale watching gets you closer to marine life. If that's not enough, there's also Brew Fest, Monster Jam, ice rinks, marathons, and plenty of festivals to keep you busy. February has even more to do, so check back here next month.

Go Whale-Watching
January is the perfect time to head out to the ocean for a whale-watching tour.  Look for gray whales, humpbacks, dolphins, orcas, and more during the soothing, rocking boat ride.  Depending on the company, you can even take a tour at sunset to see the gorgeous color-filled sky.

Let Your Inner Child Out At The Arcade
If you're looking for an evening activity that is more than just hitting a bar, try visiting Coin Op Game Room, an adult arcade with artisan cocktails and classic games.  Enjoy a po'boy as you aim for the high score on Ms. Pacman or relive your college days with a little Beer Pong.  It's a stellar way to spend an evening.
