Spring is creeping back into the air, and San Diego is ready for it. It may still be too cool to take a dip in the ocean, but that doesn't stop you from taking walks along the shore. Whale watching season in San Diego is from mid-December through April, with migrating gray whales being the most common to see. From early March-May, if you visit the Carlsbad Flower Fields, you will be mesmerized by 50 acres of red, orange, yellow, green, and purple flower blossoms. The irony is that the botanical garden was unintentional, the company is a commercial grower of Giant Ranunculus bulbs, and the flowers the bulbs produce just happen to be breath-taking. Make sure you drive by or visit the popular spring attraction.
