October is one of the best times to visit Phoenix. Temperatures finally start to drop from hot extremes to more pleasant averages. With better weather comes a full calendar. There are tons of fun events going on in Phoenix throughout the month. From festivals, like the Peoria Country Music Fest and the Taco Festival, to the Arizona State fair, a tradition that dates back to 1905, there are lots of fun things to do outdoors.

The Arizona Blues Showdown Final Round provides listeners of blues music the opportunity to hear local bands perform familiar and well-known songs.
