The 2024 edition of Miami Broward Carnival is October 5-14 at Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition. The event is the largest Caribbean carnival in North America, headlined by a parade with floats, bands, and masqueraders from throughout the Caribbean. The festival is a laid-back affair for food, drinks, vendors and live music. Come for the Steelband “Panorama” competition Friday, October 11,  J’Ouvert Mas on Saturday morning October 12 and the highly anticipated Kings and Queens competition and Mas Band Parade and Concert Sunday, October 13. The Carnival officially kicks off with a preview of sorts during the previous weekend as the Junior Carnival Competition for kids takes place Saturday, October 5.
