Hollywood Boulevard becomes a vibrant parade filled with stunning masquerade costumes and food, music, and performances from a variety of cultures. Celebrities have also been known to make appearances at this colorful celebration of diversity.

Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival

The Subaru Newport Beach Jazz Festival is scheduled to run from June 2nd through June 4th in beautiful Newport Beach. Music enthusiasts will delight in the impressive showcase of talented artists from both jazz and contemporary music genres. Some of this year’s performers include names like Boney James, Marcus Anderson, and Adam Hawley. Attendees can also spend the day checking out art, apparel, merchandise and food vendors. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $155 for standard tickets or $265 for VIP private seating experiences.

Mariachi USA

Mariachi USA is one of the best Mariachi concerts in the nation and is highly anticipated each year. Held at the Hollywood Bowl, the concert features top American and Mexican Mariachi bands, as well as traditional folkloric dances and a fireworks show to end all the excitement! The Hollywood Bowl is a great venue to see any concert since it’s outside where you can enjoy the wonderful L.A. nights! Tickets range from $58 - $784 and can be purchased here.

It's a well-known fact that the film industry in L.A./Hollywood is huge, so it's the perfect city to attend and experience a film festival! The 14th annual event celebrates and explores new technologies in media and will feature screenings, including world-premiers, of over 110 films and videos, as well as $45,000 in awards to those in competition. Tickets range from $15 - $80 and can be purchased online.

U.S. Open

U.S. Open

The U.S. Open has the largest prize of the four major annual golfing championships, with last year's purse totaling $12.5 million. Each year, the tournament takes place in a different venue, with the 2023 editions scheduled for the Country Club in Los Angeles, California. Tickets start at $125, though premium packages are also available. These may include shuttle transportation, access to a rooftop deck, and TV coverage. Food and drinks will also be available.

Taking place a short drive from the Los Angeles city center on Irvine Lake, the OC Music Fest will feature 20 bands across 3 stages. This is a fun, SoCal music festival with a solid groove, emphasizing blues, roots, and jam bands.

Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival

Curated by Kamasi Washington and Herbie Hancock, the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival will return on June 17th and 18th. Over the course of two days, artists such as Bell Biv DeVoe, Samara Joy and Poncho Sanchez will perform. Tickets are on sale today, ranging from $29 to $205.

The featured movies aren't the latest releases from the other side of town, but it's great to be outside to enjoy these classic blockbusters. Guests can enjoy audience games and themed photo ops and even bring their furry friends to dog-friendly locations.
