June Marks California Opening up Post-Pandemic

June marks the post-pandemic reopening of the state of California and all counties within it. So as the weather starts to warm up in the City of Angels, you can expect the calendar to heat up too. While L.A. experiences pleasant weather year-round, its summers are especially enjoyable because of all the fun seasonal activities anticipated to return this year.

While Los Angeles almost always gives off an electric air of culture, the summer months are when the real fun happens. One of the most anticipated events of the summer happens in June of each year, wherein a culturally diverse crowd gathers for the annual Hollywood Carnival. Hollywood Boulevard becomes a vibrant parade filled with stunning masquerade costumes and food, music, and performances from a variety of cultures. Celebrities have also been known to make appearances at this colorful celebration of diversity.

It's a well-known fact that the film industry in L.A./Hollywood is huge, so it's the perfect city to attend and experience a film festival! The 13th annual event celebrates and explores new technologies in media and will feature screenings, including world-premiers, of over 110 films and videos, as well as $45,000 in awards to those in competition. Tickets range from $20 - $99 and can be purchased online.

L.A. WineFest

L.A. WineFest

Feast on exquisite wine and beer, hear live music and much on delicious foods and treats from local food trucks at L.A. WineFest. Held at The Harry Bridges Memorial Park, Long Beach. The is for those of drinking age and a great time to unwind and treat your taste buds to some amazing alcoholic beverages. Early Bird Tickets will be available in February.

Backstreet Boys

Mariachi USA

Mariachi USA is one of the best Mariachi concerts in the nation and is highly anticipated each year. Held at the Hollywood Bowl, the concert features top American and Mexican Mariachi bands, as well as traditional folkloric dances and a fireworks show to end all the excitement! The Hollywood Bowl is a great venue to see any concert since it’s outside where you can enjoy the wonderful L.A. nights! Tickets range from $43.50 - $200 and can be purchased here.
