Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival on May 25. The event showcases Caribbean food, music, and culture and starts with a colorful parade filled with costumes, dancing, and entertainment throughout the downtown area. Chastain Park hosts the 16th annual Chastain Park Arts Festival, named one of the top arts festivals in the nation. Nearly 175 artists come to the festival to showcase their artwork. Visitors can also enjoy crafts, beverages and local food trucks, live acoustic music, and activities for the kids. The festival is free to enter for everyone. The event runs from 10 am-5 pm on Satuday and 11 am-5 pm on Sunday.
