Things to Do in Atlanta in June
Dance your heels off in Heel'd Classes
Grab your sassiest pair of heels and get ready to groove at one of the most uniquely Atlanta dance classes in the city! Led by professional dancer and choreographer, She’Meka, Heel’d classes are open to all levels of dancers who want to let loose, empower confidence, and release any negative energy that has been holding them back in life. This is a judgment-free zone surrounded by enthusiastic and supportive classmates. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are roughly two hours long. A class costs $15 for one person, $25 for two people.
Catch a show at one of Atlanta’s most legendary local music venues. Infamous for giving acclaimed artists such as John Mayer, Sugarland, and The Civil Wars their start, Eddie’s Attic has a reputation for attracting some of the finest up-and-coming local talent and seasoned touring acts. Grab a drink at the bar and settle in to experience live music with a raw intimacy like never before. The Attic is a strict listening room—you could almost hear a pin drop. So be sure to silence your cell phone before the first song! Prices vary, and all ages are usually welcome unless noted otherwise.
