Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival

Celebrate Juneteenth, which commemorates over 400 years of African American freedom from slavery, during this 3-day celebration. In addition to live music performances and entertainment, there will be a parade at noon on Monday, June 20, and it will travel down Auburn Ave from the King Center to Centennial Olympic Park. This year's parade theme is "Reparations Over Everything." This year's celebration will also feature a 5k freedom walk/run on June 19. Family Food Fest

Dig into exotic cuisine from around the world at Family Food Fest.  Learn how to make new dishes and bring new life to old ones during chef demos, bid on items at the silent auction, and enjoy live music from Atlanta's favorite local bands.  The event is designed to be a fun way for the whole family to celebrate Father's Day and Juneteenth.

Art-Tiques Summer Market Fiesta

The Braselton Antique and Artisan Festival is a showcase of handcrafted goods and antiques from over 300 vendors. Browse or purchase from displays of unique home decor, jewelry, pottery, and more. The festival will also feature yummy bites from 10 food trucks, and alcohol vendors will also be present so that you can sip as you marvel. The festival features free parking, and admission is free and open to the public. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, register online.

They're back, alright! The Backstreet Boys return to Atlanta this June. The Backstreet Boys were a dominant force in pop music in the late 90s, and their talent is just as sharp today as it was at their apex. Buy tickets here.

The Summer Beer Festival will celebrate its seventh anniversary at the Historic 4th Ward Park with about 200 beers from famous countrywide breweries and special local Atlanta breweries.

Did you know there are over 17,000 different species of butterflies in the world, and 160 of those species live in Georgia? Learn about these amazing winged insects and their role in the ecosystem at the Flying Colors Butterfly Festival. Experts will be offering talks on a variety of topics, from migration to pollination, and you can even get up close and personal with the nature center's butterflies in a special encounter. Tickets cost $15.
