Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Atlanta in early April is perfect for outdoor events, with that sweet spot 70-and-sunny weather that is not too hot or too cold. For over 80 years, artists and art lovers have gathered at Piedmont Park for the biggest festival of the year. The Atlanta Dogwood Festival features art from local artists, including clay sculptures, paintings, photography, handmade jewelry, glass figures, and more. Spectators can view the art exhibits, but they also enjoy live music, gourmet local cuisines, great drinks, and plenty of activities for kids including a 5k walk/run. Some event proceeds help support Atlanta’s high school art students with scholarships and grants.
