Although Dallas is not the largest city in TX, you’ll never run out of things to do.  And because November is typically the driest month of the year, outdoor activities are usually cool and comfortable.  Go out and enjoy movies in the park, a football game, or a concert.  There are plenty of indoor activities too, you can take a trip to the theater, the museum of art, or a comedy club. Tourist season may be winding down, but there are still many things to enjoy this month.

This festival has a bit of everything for everyone- live music, food, shopping, and kid's activities can be enjoyed all day long, from 11 am to 10 pm. The 12th Annual Festival at the Switchyard features a strong concert lineup. In addition to the music, the festival offers a strong shopping scene with many local booths throughout the venue. Food options are plentiful with several local food vendors, and you can enjoy a cold beverage at the beer garden. Admission to the festival is free for everyone. Step back in the past with the Pistons & Paint car show in Denton, Texas, where you'll get to see 1972 and older vehicles. Public parking will be available, as well as plenty of vendors, food, and music to enhance the lively atmosphere. Admission starts at $10 and the event lasts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It's perfect for car enthusiasts and experts alike, as American hot rods, classics, and customs may be on display for your viewing and evaluation.

This 2-day event mixes national artists with local Texas talent. While listening to Country and Blues music live all day, you'll be able to see some of the most diverse artists in the genre. In addition to stellar music performances, there will be food on hand, specifically curated to complement the music styles. Both one and two-day tickets are available here.

The 3rd Annual Fort Worth Pizza Fest brings the best pizza trucks in the Dallas area to form a pizza block party. Entertainment includes live shows and live music, and the exciting pizza eating contest. The venue's beer and wine garden offers guest a quality selection of beverages, while kids can enjoy bounce land and other activities. The festival spans from noon to 8 pm.
