Dallas New Year's Eve Bar Crawl

Booze is one of the best parts of New Year's Eve, so raise a glass and "crawl" your way through a myriad of bars in Dallas, Texas. This NYE Bar Crawl grants you access to participating bars, like Concrete Cowboy, Nodding Donkey, and Off The Cuff. Two crawl routes will be available, each with a list of lively bars for drinking, dancing, and socializing. Registration party locations are currently TBA. The crawl lasts from 4:00 PM on December 31st to 1:00 AM on January 1st, and tickets start at $21.99. VIP tickets are also available, which include a souvenir champagne flute. 

Annual Smooth Jazz New Year's Day-Day Party

Transition into the New Year in the smoothest way possible, featuring live performances by the Natural Change Jazz band. The Annual Smooth Jazz New Year Day-Day Party will also feature tunes from World Famous TDK, 3 full-service cash bars, and catered food. Rejoice in celebrating the Lunar New Year at Asia Times Square in Grand Prairie, Texas, where you can experience this annual event's vibrant culture and traditions. Held over three weekends in January, the event offers food and merchandise vendors, live performances, and daily lion dance performances. The event's highlight is the VIP opening ceremony banquet, featuring gourmet dishes from the chefs at The Pearl Restaurant, music, and VIP speakers. The banquet proceeds will also go toward the Loh Foundation. Free parking will also be offered for your convenience, so remember to book your $50 tickets soon.

 

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Week

The 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Week is a week-long celebration honoring the legacy of one of the most influential men in history. From January 10-16, the community will come together to participate in a variety of events that showcase the values and ideals of Dr. King. Some of these include a wreath-laying ceremony, an equity indicators symposium, and a job fair, among many others. These will be held at various locations throughout Dallas and will provide an opportunity to honor Dr. King. Times will vary depending on your activity of choice, so be sure to visit the event's website for more information.

 

Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

Don't miss this legendary rodeo show that's been going on since 1896. In addition to the main rodeo excitement and competitions, there will also be livestock and horse shows, kid-friendly activities and exhibits, live music, carnival activities, shopping, food, and more. The event spans 23 days, so there's plenty of time to catch the action. Tickets start at $41 and can be purchased here
