Snuggle Up This February in Chicago

Average temperature low and high: 26° - 36°
With wind speeds ranging from 5-21 miles per hour, making it feel up to 10 degrees cooler than it is outside, Chicago is the perfect place to get close and cuddly with your significant other this Valentine's Day. There are also lots of cultural events going on throughout the month that include Black History Month celebrations and the annual Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown. Some events may change or be postponed or due to COVID-19; we will update this page with any new info from organizers in the coming weeks.
Cupid's Undie Run

Cupid's Undie Run

Help find a cure for neurofibromatosis and have some fun at Cupid's Undie Run on February 19th, 2022.  Brave the Windy City winter in your underwear for a mile-long race, then warm up at the party hosted by a local sports bar, complete with drinks, food, and entertainment.

Neurofibromatosis affects 1 in 3000 babies, causing painful tumors to grow on nerves.  These tumors can cause visible growths, are painful, and currently have limited treatment options and no cure.  Since those suffering from neurofibromatosis can't hide the tumors, organizers of the event invite everyone to show their support by baring it all (or at least most)!  The Undie Run, which started in 2010, has raised over 21 million dollars for research and awareness.

Sign up on their website and invite friends and family to join as well.  Recieve various prizes depending on how much money you raise, and don't forget a change of clothes for the post-run celebration!
