Australia Open

Jan 16-29, 2024 · Melbourne, Australia

Winter X Games

Jan 26-28, 2024 · Aspen, Colorado

Showcasing an elite lineup of extreme winter sports competitors and events, the annual Winter X Games return to Aspen's Buttermilk Mountain this January. Known for its hip, fun atmosphere, the X Games feature in-game performances by DJs and live concerts. In between events, fans can also explore Aspen's famed hotels, restaurants, and attractions. Admission to X Fest at the base of the mountain is free to attend, but fans can also guarantee reserved viewing spots by purchasing an X Games Corral ticket or a SuperFan pass.

Six Nations

Feb 2, 2024 - Mar 16, 2024 · Europe

Every year, rugby fans look forward to the Six Nations championship series featuring England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, and Italy. The tournament follows a round-robin format, beginning on the first weekend in February. Each team plays every other team once, culminating in Super Saturday in mid-March. The series is played in six stadiums, each with a capacity of 50,000 or more. In 2024, Ireland defends their 2023 title in what is sure to be one of the year's most exciting sporting events. 

The Big Game

The 58th edition of football's biggest game comes to Las Vegas to determine the top team in the National Football League. Often anticipated as much as the game itself, the halftime show this year features a performance by Usher.

The Masters

In April, The Masters returns to Augusta, Georgia for one of golf's most anticipated events. The first major golf tournament of the year, The Masters is rooted in tradition, from the ceremonial first tee to the awarding of the famous green jacket to the tournament winner. Fans can also see many of golf's legendary players compete, as there is a standing invitation for past champions to return every year--adding to The Masters' long and storied history.  

Kentucky Derby

Attending the Kentucky Derby is almost as much fun as watching it. The race itself is known as the "fastest two minutes in sports," the first leg in the American Triple Crown of horse racing, followed by the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Yet the Kentucky Derby always gets the most attention, with attendees at Churchill Downs famously dressed up (with women sporting elaborate hats) and sipping on Mint Juleps. While the stands have a relatively formal atmosphere, the infield is a raucous, casual picnic environment, where locals consider it a tradition to smuggle alcohol inside.  

PGA Championship

May 16-19, 2024 · Louisville, Kentucky

In 2024, the best players in golf travel to Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, to vie for the Wanamaker Trophy at the PGA Championship. The event is held at a different course each year, and various ticket packages are available starting at $59. Be sure to reserve a spot now for one of golf's most anticipated events, and watch as 2023 PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka defends his title. 

French Open

The French Open (officially named Roland-Garros, in honor of a French aviator) is the second of four annual Grand Slam tournaments in the world of professional tennis. The competition unfolds over two weeks in Paris on the most elite clay court in the world. In the last few years, Roland-Garros has seen extensive renovations, including a retractable roof and a new, 5,000-seat court. In 2024, it will also host the Paris Olympic Games' tennis and wheelchair tennis competitions, as well as boxing.

Indianapolis 500

IndyCar fans will pack the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the annual racing spectacle that dates back to 1911. The Indianapolis 500 is a high-speed competition featuring 200 laps and 33 drivers battling it out on the famous 2.5-mile track. Fans can kick off the weekend with an autograph session at Legends Day before the big race on Sunday, or check out the nearby Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Come watch Josef Newgarden defend his 2023 title as he races to be only the sixth driver in Indy 500 history to win in back-to-back years.

U.S. Open

Jun 13-16, 2024 · Pinehurst, North Carolina

The U.S. Open is the third major men's golfing championship, following the Masters Tour and the PGA Championship. Open to both pro and amateur players, it also has the largest prize of the four annual events, with last year's purse totaling a record $20 million. Each year, the tournament takes place in a different venue with the 2024 edition scheduled for Pinehurst, North Carolina (ranked the best course in the state).

The oldest and most prestigious professional tennis tournament in the world, Wimbledon returns to the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club this July. The only Grand Slam tournament played on grass courts, Wimbledon is known for its A-List attendees and stately (often regal) atmosphere--fans won't be surprised to see royals in attendance, especially during the biggest matchups on 15,000-seat Centre Court. This year, watch defending champions Carlos Alcaraz and Markéta Vondroušová defend their titles along with the top-ranked players in the world. One of the most exciting times to visit the city, Wimbledon is also a great reason to plan a London vacation.
