Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest

Seattle Scotch & Beer Fest

Join a celebration of spirits and craft beer at the annual Seattle Scotch and Beer Festival. The two-day tasting experience will feature craft cocktails, over 50 craft beers and ciders, spirit flights, seminars, and more. Various ticket options with ranging tasting packages are available, prices start at $30. Proceeds will support the Youth Experiential Training Institute (Y.E.T.I). Evergreen State Fair

Evergreen State Fair

The Evergreen State Fair returns to Monroe, WA, bringing its signature concerts, roaming entertainers, food, and local beer from across Washington State. A 30-minute drive from Seattle, this 11-day state fair has been around for over a century. To commemorate the 114 years that it has delighted and amused visitors, this year's fair theme is "Little Moments, Big Memories!" Expect all the staples that you're used to enjoying at the Evergreen State Fair --- food, rides, entertainment, and animals. This year's concert lineup includes Neon Trees, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony with Twista, and Nate Smith. Visitors, please note that the fair will be closed on Wednesday, August 30.

PAX West

The annual Penny Arcade Expo West, or PAX West, is a gaming convention that's hotly anticipated by thousands of enthusiastic fans and industry creators. Free play and competitive gaming events, vendors and artists selling their newest gaming creations and musical performances all make for a buzzing atmosphere. From cutting-edge gaming tech to the nitty gritty of gaming culture, there's a bit of everything from the gaming world here. 4-day passes for the entire event are $260, and you can also attend on a particular day with single-day passes that cost $71. BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) passes are also available, and gaming tournament signups are on a first-come, first-served basis. All ages are welcome and children under 6 get free entry.

Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival

Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival

Celebrate a local landmark at the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival. Food and drinks from local vendors will abound, and as you wander the grounds, you can catch the parade, numerous live entertainment acts, and vendor booths stocked with a variety of artisan goods. The event finishes with a stunning fireworks display on Saturday night that you won't want to miss.

Kirkland Oktoberfest

Kirkland Oktoberfest

Head down to Lake Washington to experience an authentic München-style Oktoberfest Biergarten (beer garden). The 10th annual three-day Kirkland Oktoberfest features "biers" both locally brewed and imported from Germany, live music performances, German DJs, contests and more. The pours come in half-liter and full liter pours, so be responsible when arranging trasnportation. Admission is $15 and limited to ages 21 and over. Drink tickets cost extra.

Get ready for a dollop of dolce vita at the 36th 2023 Seattle Italian Festival. Come for the sizzling cooking demos - you might not become the next Mario Batali, but hey, a bit more 'al dente' never hurt anyone. The Anthony "Nino" Lane Band will be serenading us with their tunes, perfect for dancing off those extra cannoli. Speaking of cannoli, there will be more Italian food than you can shake a breadstick at. Don't miss the grape stomp - it's the one place where putting your foot in it is encouraged! Italian cars, dogs, and bocce? Mamma Mia, it's amore at the Seattle Center!

The Great Pumpkin Beer Fest

Welcome to the 19th annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, where 80+ pumpkin and seasonal beers will be represented. During this unique event, make sure you stop at the 100-pound pumpkin that's full of beer. The presenters will be tapping it so that all guests can give the beer a try. There will also be a costume & pie eating contest as well as a pumpkin carving section, food vendors, and many more activities. This is a 21+ event - Tickets sell out every year, so be sure to purchase yours soon.

Built for the 1962 World’s Fair, Seattle Center is the educational, tourism, and arts and entertainment core of Seattle. Here you will find the Space Needle, the official icon of the city, as well as the Pacific Science Museum. Like the heart of any city, you can find many fine restaurants and bars all around the Seattle Center.
