Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

You have the entire month of December to see the seasonal winter holiday display at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The floral exhibit features intricate designs of festive imagery with a towering decorated tree as the centerpiece. You may see polar bears and giant nutcrackers too. As always, the attraction is free to enter so beware of bustling crowds, especially during Christmas week. The Bellagio introduced gingerbread cookies and other treats for sale last year. Don't be surprised to see that turn into a tradition this year.

National Finals Rodeo

Bring your cowboy hat! The National Finals Rodeo unfolds over 10 days in Las Vegas with competitions getting underway at 5:45 p.m. each night at the Thomas & Mack Center. From bullriding to roping, you'll see the best of the best in a high-intensity environment. The rodeo traditionally coincides with numerous events throughout Vegas, including country music concerts and the Cowboy Christmas shopping extravaganza inside the Convention Center.

New Year's Eve Fireworks

Las Vegas is one of the best cities in the world for celebrating New Year's Eve. The Strip closes to traffic, allowing revelers to crowd Las Vegas Boulevard in anticaption of watching fireworks shoot from the rooftops of various resorts at the stroke of midnight. The colorful celebration is something everyone should experience at least once. Bundle up. It gets cold in Vegas this time of year. Give yourself plenty of time too. Rideshare services and taxis will take longer than usual to score.

Fremont Street Experience

The Fremont Street Experience is the top spot to celebrate New Year's Eve in Downtown Las Vegas. The overhead Viva Vision canopy will display festive video shows throughout the night. Enjoy live music up and down the five-block pedestrian mall. Expect special guests to be announced. At the stroke of midnight, revelers will gather on Main Street to see Downtown's only fireworks show erupt from the Plaza hotel. The Fremont Street Experience is usually free to enter, but New Year's Eve typically requires a ticket or admission fee.
