The annual Denton Fourth of July celebration will include themed events like the Liberty 5k race, the Fourth of July Jubilee with games and activities, a Yankee Doodle parade and float contest in the downtown area, and a fireworks display. This free event is the perfect way to get in the Independence Day spirit. Race registration and additional information will be available online.

Independence Day in Texas is just bigger. The Lake Cities 4th of July celebration is one-of-a-kind with 4 different cities coming together to make the biggest bash. Enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and food trucks, icy cold drinks to beat the heat, local artisan products, and live music from bands like Jon Christopher Davis and the Lone Star Attitude Band. The day ends with a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Dallas.

Klyde Warren Park\'s Independence Day Celebration Presented by Texas Capital Bank

This summer, enjoy a free public event featuring a variety of food trucks, live music, and family games. Coordinated with a playlist by Dallas's DJ Lucy Wrubel. The event, held at Dallas's finest outdoor venue, offers seating on a first-come, first-served basis. The park opens at 9 AM, with food trucks starting at 11 AM. Activities begin at 7 PM, including stilt walkers, face painting, a hair color bar, and tattoo artists. Live performances take place at the Muse Family Performance Pavilion, with fireworks at 9:40 PM. The event concludes at 10 PM. Throughout the day, the Nancy Best Fountain will perform patriotic tunes.

Fort Worth's Fourth

Fort Worth\'s Fourth

Spend your Independence Day celebrating at the free annual Fort Worth's Fourth event. There will be an F-16 Flyover by the 301st Fighter Wing, live music entertainment, local food and beverage vendors, and the largest firework display in North Texas. The firework show will begin at 9:30 pm. Additional information on this year's celebration will be available online. 

Rockin' the River

Float and vibe out at the 10th annual Rockin' the River Tubing Series. This event will allow attendees to lay back and lazily drift along the river with a cold drink in hand while listening to a full-day lineup of music from top performers. The River at Panther Island Pavillion has been named one of the top rivers to float in the US, so the location is perfect. The event will feature country acts such as Shinyribs, Grady Spencer & The Work, Carson Geoffrey And Trinston Marez. There are food and beverage vendors and a firework show.

Mi Cocina Mambo Miles 5K

Mi Cocina Mambo Miles 5K

The third edition of the renowned Mambo Miles 5K, hosted by Mi Cocina, takes off from Klyde Warren Park, weaving through Uptown Mi Cocina. Participants will receive a race shirt, a finisher medal, breakfast taco, and a famous Mambo Taxi margarita. The post-race celebration at the park features a tequila garden, music and Latin-inspired food trucks. A party pass is available for those who wish to sit around eating tacos instead of demonstrating their running ability. Registration varies from $30 to $50, depending on the date. Proceeds support the M Crowd Familia Fund, aiding M Crowd Restaurant Group employees and their families in need. Registration closes by 3 PM on July 21, 2023.
