Stubb's BBQ

Stubb's BBQ
Located on Red River Street, Stubb's not only offers some of the best BBQ in Austin, but it is also one of the best music venues in the city for big and small shows alike. It is all but tradition for those attending a concert to enjoy one of Stubb's satisfying BBQ plates, but Stubb's is worth visiting for its food alone.

The Congress Bridge Bats

The Congress Bridge Bats
A favorite place among travelers and locals, the bat colony living under Congress Bridge is massive, housing around 1.5 million freetail bats. August is the best month to watch this uniquely Austin spectacle as those bats leave their colony in droves. It is a one-of-a-kind experience.
