The Taste of Soul festival mixes quintessential Atlanta food and music to bring you two days of absolute joy. Set in one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods, where Martin Luther King and the heroes of the Civil Rights Movement made history, this festival is steeped in culture. The R&B music festival is headlined by the luscious J Brown. 1-day concert plus wine-tasting passes start at $25.

Festival goers will have the opportunity to enjoy live music and try mouthwatering BBQs from over 10 local & regional vendors. A few bands on this year’s musical lineup include Breaking Point Band, Frankie’s Blues Mission, Dewayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers and others. Tickets cost $10 - children 12 and under are FREE.

The Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest brings the best craft beer and live music for one colorful September evening. This vibrant street party in downtown Alpharetta will feature the finest creations by local and regional craft breweries like Jekyll Brewing as well as offerings by some of the best eateries in town. Live music by The Rupert's Orchestra is also one of this year's attractions. Entrance for one is just $10, or you can get a table for $180, which even includes admission for six. Attendees are allowed to bring their own chairs to sit back and enjoy the revelry, and the festival is on from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

With food, festivities and live music spanning two days, this urban oasis attracts over 20,000 people on each day of the festival and popular local artists and food outlets to boot. For the athletically inclined attendees, don your sports attire on Sunday for a sprightly 5K or a breezy 1-mile fun run. Every dollar collected at this volunteer-only event goes right back into the development and upkeep of the picturesque Candler Park. Entry to this event is free, so bring your friends and family along. Everyone's invited.
