Flying Colors Butterfly Festival

Did you know there are over 17,000 different species of butterflies in the world, and 160 of those species live in Georgia? Learn about these amazing winged insects and their role in the ecosystem at the 25th Annual Flying Colors Butterfly Festival. Experts will be offering talks on a variety of topics, from migration to pollination, and you can even get up close and personal with the nature center's butterflies in a special encounter. Tickets cost $25.

This summer festival promises to be the ultimate celebration for Atlanta beer lovers. A mix of local and regional craft breweries will showcase their finest creations. Brew Moon Fest will host top local and national acts and food tents from some of the best eateries in town. Tables and chairs can be purchased but many people bring their chairs to the event. The hours of operation are from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and the event will commence rain or shine.

The Atlanta Fringe Festival, a celebration of independent theater and performance art, is set to grace the city from June 3rd to June 9th. With over fifty performances spread across seven days, attendees can enjoy an immersive experience that inspires introspection and stimulates intellectual curiosity on issues related to social justice, race, and gender identity.

"Les Misérables" is one of the most successful musicals in Broadway history, Based on Victor Hugo' s novel, the story is set in 19th-century France against a backdrop of societal turmoil and the pending June Rebellion in Paris. Claude-Michel Schönberg's iconic score includes crowd favorites like "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own" and "Do You Hear the People Sing?" with a colorful array of costumes and set pieces. "Les Mis" has been a rousing success for more than 40 years, earning numerous awards, including the Tony for "Best Musical" in 1987. Buy tickets.
