Attend one of the hottest music and street art festivals in the country.  Postponed from 2021, ILLfest is finally back with an amazing musical lineup and some of the most stunning graffiti art pieces around.  See Snake Hips, Craze, and Reaper perform live, to name just a few of the dozens of artists scheduled, and then head to afterparties around Austin with even more music to groove to.  Tickets start at $342.

VEGANCHILL Fest

VEGANCHILL is everything Austin (and the world) needs right now. This highly-anticipated annual event offers two types of tickets - including general admission and VIP holders. But no matter the type of ticket you purchase, everyone is entitled to complimentary Beyond Meat finger foods throughout the event. Delectable vegan food and drinks will be served throughout the festival, along with a live DJ and entertainment - including Drag Queens and Dancers.

The Belmont, located in the heart of downtown Austin, invites singles and couples alike to a unique and memorable Valentine's Day Weekend event. Upon check-in, attendees will receive a color-coded glowstick necklace signaling their relationship status: green for "single and available," yellow for "it's complicated," and pink for "off the market." The venue, with its swanky interiors, skyline views, and large open air courtyard, is perfect for social distancing while enjoying a Silent Disco featuring three live DJs spinning different genres of music throughout the night. Attendees will be provided with Quiet Events headphones and glow-in-the-dark gear. The event is 21+ and will take place rain or shine, with a casual dress code.

The Bloody Mary Festival

The Bloody Mary Festival

If you love brunch and bloody marys, don't miss out on The Bloody Mary Festival coming to Austin this month. Tickets, when available, will include unlimited bloody marys crafted by the finest Austin bars and restaurants. There will also be a lot of food to choose from, as well as a place to get temporary tattoos, photo booths, and more. 21+ only.

Aladdin

Immerse yourself in the world of "Aladdin" at the Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Texas, where this Disney classic comes to life with comedy, magic, and music. Expect lively dance sequences, intricate costume designs, and gorgeous set pieces to enhance this timeless story. The show will run for 2.5 hours with one intermission from February 14th to February 19th. The show will be primarily held in the evening, though there are two afternoon showtimes. OUTsider Fest

Through many different kinds of mediums including music, film, performance art, writing, and more, the OUTsider Fest challenges the norm of festivals as we know it. Through meaningful collaborations with queer artists, the festival encourages thoughtful dialogue between artists, scholars, and the general public.

Mardi Gras Bar Crawl - Austin

Mardi Gras Bar Crawl - Austin

Get out your craziest costume and have a little taste of New Orleans in Austin. Get ready to let the good times roll at this Mardi-Gras-themed bar hop. Expect to collect lots of beads, drink traditional New Orleans cocktails, and party all day as Sixth street transforms into Bourbon street. A ticket to the festivities grants you cover-free access to participating bars discounted food and drink specials, a light-up souvenir cup, and more. Tickets are $12. 

Austin Marathon, Half-Marathon, & 5K

Whether you’re braving the cold and participating in the running festivities or just looking to cheer on the athletes from the sidelines (preferably with a hot chocolate in hand), the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon races are a sight to behold. The course zigzags through the heart of downtown Austin with plenty to see and do along the way. Be sure to check out the Finish Line festival which will feature a beer garden, live music, and, in true Austin fashion, food trucks!

Enjoy oysters in every form at the Austin Oyster Festival. Fried, raw, baked, or roasted, you can find it here. Carnaval Brasileiro

Dubbed as the largest carnaval celebration outside Brazil, join thousands of Austinites who come together to take part in the annual festivities. The festival started out as a humble celebration among homesick Brazilian UT students who wanted a way to celebrate even while hundreds of miles from home. Forty-plus years later, and now it’s one of the wildest parties that Austin has to offer.
